Rules for the competition:
How to become one of the 80 ASUS PadFone 2 Test pilots
ASUS will select 20 test pilots in each Nordic country, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark to whom we will send out an ASUS PadFone 2 during one month time.

These 80 will be selected by an ASUS jury from submissions received through email event_nordic@asus.com or through the special Facebook tab.  We’re looking for test pilots with at least one of these characteristics; Good social media network, proof of creative personality, sense of humor, good writer, good presence in front of the camera, heavy IT user/power user, active on forums or maybe just very persistent and will do everything to win.

In the submission it is highly recommended to write a description of yourself and how/why you would be a good test pilot for ASUS PadFone 2. This can be proven by linking to things you’ve done online at; YouTube, forums, blogs, price comparison sites, image sites like flicker and so on, or by describing why you are the right person for the job. We need a description of what you do, who you are and what your ideas are for this test pilot period. Creative ideas and those who are expected to get a wide reach will have an advantage. Your submission needs to be sent in the 20th of December 2012 at the latest for the first half run. For the second run the deadline for submission is the 9th of January 2013.




If you are selected as the top 20 in your country
The chosen ASUS PadFone 2 Test Pilots will be contacted by ASUS in week 51 and the samples will be sent out shortly after that. You will be contacted by email, so make sure you check it every day. If you don’t reply us by the end of week 1 someone else will take your place. This means that there’s a second chance to be selected during week 2. Before we send the PadFone 2 you will need to sign a contract saying that you will send it back in 45 days and in good condition. When you have it, start testing and sharing you result straight away! All testing must be done and posted before the 13th of January for the first half and the 13th of February 2013 for the second half. You will get more info when you are selected.

How to become one of the 4 lucky winners in each country
If you are selected among the 20 ASUS PadFone 2 Test Pilots you have the chance to win and keep the PadFone 2 after the test period is over. The 16 winners will be selected by an ASUS jury and the criteria’s are following:

  • Creativity; you have used a channel for you message we didn’t think of or you used a traditional channel but the content was something we didn’t think of or made us laugh.
  • Most viewed; some people have the advantage of being able to say something and getting a lot of attention, are you one of those? Let’s say you do a video and get a lot of views or you are active on forums and many people read your post or you have a lot of followers on Instagram or Twitter (use #PadFone2Pilot) or you do an oral presentation in front of big crowed or if you have some other idea.
  • Most active; if you are not blessed with the charisma of a superstar or are as creative as an artist, then this is the criteria for you. Just make sure to do as much as possible of everything! Do Instagram posts (use #PadFone2Pilot), flicker, Twitter posts (use #PadFone2Pilot), forum comments, comments on pricehunting sites, news articles and everything else you can come up with.
  • Most commented on; What can you do in order to get people to comment on and like your video/post/picture/review? If the viewers are active you have a possibility to win!

Focus on one criteria, or two, or all of them and the jury will take everything into consideration before they make their decision.
When you have done all your testing you will have to gather all links or proof of execution together with number of people reached. (Everything that you do have to be visible to the public without any special logins). Something like this:

If you win
You get to keep the ASUS PadFone 2 you have been testing, congratulations!

If you don’t win
You have to hand the ASUS PadFone 2 back to ASUS according to the contract you signed. TNT will come and collect the package at ASUS expense. A selected few might be able to purchase the tested ASUS PadFone 2 at a discount as a comfort price. This is depending on the quality of the tests. ASUS jury will decide who will get the possibility.

Terms and conditions:
Responsible for the contest are: ASUS Nordic AB, Finlandsgatan 10, 164 74 Sweden. To participate in the competition you have to follow the rules of the competition. The winner of the competition will be selected by a jury from ASUS Nordic AB and ASUS decision is final. The competition runs until the 13th of February 2013.

We reserve us for the possibility that we’ve written something that is incorrect, that the rules need to be changed, technical errors or other errors not controlled by ASUS. In order to participate in this campaign you need to be over 18 years old. We reserve the right to determine which contribution that qualifies for the campaign. A jury of ASUS marketing department will determine this. The competition is not open to employees of ASUS or its affiliates. ASUS reserves the exclusive right to exclude any entrant from the competition if we suspect that this violates the contest rules, threaten or otherwise attempt to get advantage or try to sabotage the contest. The price are not exchangeable for cash. The campaign is in no way sponsored, recommended, administered or associated with, Facebook. Any profits tax will be paid by the winner. As a contestant, you agree that your contribution can be used in Asus own marketing and not claim copyright. The winner must provide us with adress, phone-number, correct name and personalnumber/ID number depending on nationality for delivery and auditing reasons.
